Hi Murali
Great to know that another Giant has entered the electrical vehicle market, it looks the same old wine and differently painted bottle.
The growth in the EV or BOV industry comes from the individual talent and caliber of the industries, and unfortunately they cannot come to lime light due to various reasons.
VRLA SMF battery manufacturing industries at China are facing problem due to the pollution norms, the Chinese govt are strict about the pollution caused by the lead acid batteries manufacturing industry and lot of Mills have already closed, this may lead to high input costs of lead acid batteries. Magnets and lot of other components are mainly imported from China., all these will lead to very high input costs and reflects on the pricing of the electric vehicles.
If the existing ebike user requires to change the batteries of their ebike, batteries may not be available at affordable price this will fire wrong signals to the future users. Every user is aware about poor service facility of the manufacturers.
Look for example of other industries other than the ev industry., majority of the medium and big industries are dependant on small scale industries for components and technology. Whereas in the EV industry the small timers are blocked by the SMEV of India and the so called fund managers or the bankers who are ignorant about the technology of the product.
Is there anything that we can do when our government is ignorant about the facts and figures of EV industry. How can this industry will grow in our country., ????
Ananth
